Ella Cate's First Haircut
My sweet baby girl finally got her first haircut!! It was done just a little over a month ago and I just realized I had not even gotten the pictures off of my camera! She did so awesome!! She sat perfectly in the chair as Gam cut her beautiful hair. I was kinda sad and did not want it done even though everyone told me it needed a little trim. It is so funny how eager I was to cut Carter's hair for the first time and how reluctant I was to have Ella Cate's done. In the end I am glad we cut it because it did look better, however she was just as beautiful with stringy hair!
I cannot believe Carter is 3!
Last Sunday my only boy turned three!! I cannot believe it. Time flies by so fast. I am just so thankful to God that he has given me this precious child to raise for him. He is so full of life and is truly all boy. Sometimes it is hard to have a child so spirit filled but I would not change how he is for the world. He is my first born, my heart and my bug!! I love you Carter!! Ok, enough with the tears!!!
We had such a blast at frog legs. It was the least stressful birthday I must say. It was nice to just show up with cake, pizza and kids and not have to lift a finger to decorate or clean! Carter had so much fun playing with all of his friends and eating his green birthday cake! yummy!!!! He told me his favorite color (this week) was green. So when I went to Kroger to place the order I told them his favorite color is green and he wanted a soccer cake. So a green soccer cake we got!

Birmingham Zoo Trip
Last week Shelly and I packed the car, loaded up the kids and thought it would be a great idea to meet Summer in Birmingham. What we did not count on was 96 degrees, almost passing out and cranky kids!! But all in all it was worth it to see the looks on all of there faces when they saw all of the animals at the zoo. Our next trip will be cooler weather, me not being 34 weeks pregnant and gas (hopefully) not almost $4/ gallon! The Birmingham Zoo is a really great place and I cannot wait to take the kids back when we can enjoy it a little more.

Swimming at Papa and Meme's house
Friday Casey had the day off and since it was soooo hot we decided to go swimming. The kids love to swim and we had lots of fun. Carter is leaning to swim right now and I am so pround of how well he did in the pool!
